Sorry, but the point is W1AW, just like K1MAN, starts transmitting on top of
existing QSOs.

Neither moves up or down frequency to avoid causing interference.

I would assume so. But why would one want to do that to W1AW? Oh...I get
it...you think they do the same thing, right? Wrong. Go listen to both

of
them. Tell me which one is doing HAM RADIO STUFF, and which isn't.

Would that work with W1AW, also?

Oh man, I'm sorry. I really messed up my original posting. K1MAN

opened
up
on
3977.3 khz, only 400 cycles away from the ARUFON net on 3977.7 khz.

NOW do you see my point?

Thats not possible. According to MAN he listened on that frequency

for
months and quote "never heard a thing", of course he IS in Maine.

What you do is this;

Record it.

Exactly right. As a non-member of ARRL, I think you have to let K1MAN do
everything they do, or stop them both, and I don't advocate the latter.

Much of K1MAN's transmission are not ham related. This is a violation of
the rules. It is not at all the same thing that W1AW does.

What you are missing is that k1man is NOT like the W1AW
bulletins at all. W1AW bulletins last 10 minutes. They are on
ONCE a day, weekdays only. IF they interfere with existing
QSO's it last only 10 minutes. Nothing anyone would get
****ed about. However, k1man, likes to say he is just like
W1AW... well he isn't. His "broadcasts" last 1 1/2 hours,
several times a day!!!. So, he is NOT like the W1AW bulletins.
He is just an amateur wannabee broadcaster and egotist that
thinks he found a "loophole" in the FCC rules, and uses the
W1AW bulletins as an excuse. Hey...given this precedent,
why couldn't any ham have a 24/7 broadcast on ham radio!
Just call it a "bulletin" The call in talk shows is an option.

It's time to limit bulletin broadcasts to what W1AW has been
doing for their 90+ year history and keep bulletins to 10 minutes
and once a day. This should please k1man, the belgrade *******,
and ensure that he IS JUST LIKE W1AW.

Chuck,
You need to check the W1AW schedule. Is ONLY once a day on PHONE. It's also
on more frequencies than K1MAN.

The original point is that they fire up on existing QSOs. The original post
did address programming content.

No, the point is W1AW actually sends BULLETINS per the rules and
regulations, which IS PERMITTED. K1MAN has a call in talk show, which is
NOT A BULLETIN and is not legal.

If you have any doubts of that do a google search and put in K1MAN, then
read what the FCC has sent him in the last SEVERAL years.
