Can an Amateur radio operator with a Tech Plus licenses use the GMRS radio
under his HAM license or must a separate $ 75 GMRS licenses be obtained.

Not a
bad deal really and it's cheaper and likely more
useful than a subscription to QST... ; )

A trip to Mcdonalds is more useful than QST

Do you mean to say that reading QST gives one
a bad case of the shi+s just as well as eating the
stuff in buns allegedly sold as "food" at McDonalds ?

No I think Qst will cause more serious problems than that. But I have found
some good uses for QST, it makes some what decent toilet paper.

Unless you have a transverter to change the output from 462/467MHz to an amateur
band, you need a GMRS license.

Hey wait a minute ..you mean that there are others that get the screamers
from McDonald's ????? I thought it was just me .... Oh -Oh ...now the list
has disintegrated into diarrhea discussions ..but on the other hand it is
not that far a distance from rectal to oral "running".
