Default Maybe THIS Time, Brain...?!?!

Picked this up from "QRZ.COM".

Perhaps, Brain, you can get ahold of this fellow and volunteer to tag
along. He might (but I doubt it...) be able to help you understand how to go
about getting your Amateur Radio license for Somalia.

After a fantastic 6 months in Somalia last year its about to happen again. My
departure to Somalia is on 15April 2004.

I am looking for a team to work together to help Somali hams join the airwaves.
There are 13 Somali hams but none has a transceiver....(SNIP)

I think I've risked a lot already for the people of Somalia.

Your service in the US Air Force notwithstanding, I think you

risked
even
more by making statements in a public forum that were found to be not

true.

Steve, K4YZ

You are the only one who thinks that. Too bad for you.

Oh?

I don't see "everyone" tripping over themselves to "cover your back".

Now what about you serving in Somalia? You up to it?

Sure. Are you? I might even get in some LEGAL operating time,

Brain.
You could too, if you follow instructions.

Steve, K4YZ

Congratulations, kook.

I am not the one professing to have "operated" from Somalia...Nor am I the
one professing admiration for a known liar or making assinine statements about
"emergency comms" I can't back up.

You've never been to Saomalia.

I dare say you haven't either, "Brain".

You've never been to a country without a government.

And you know this...how?

But now you're an instant expert. There were other instant experts on
here, some even with vast, vast years experience operating from
countries -with- viable governments, who were proven wrong.

I am not an "instant" anything.

YOU have made assertions over the past two years you STILL haven't
validated.

Instead of having learned something, you puff out your chest and give
advice.

"...learned something"...?!?!

What?

How to lie? How to make a fool of myself in a public forum?

If I've "puffed out (my) chest" it's been from laughning so hard.

Hi hi.

A bit more enthusiastically than that, Brain.

Next thing you know you'll be sending out QSL cards, having never set
foot in-country.

I've never sent a QSL card from a locale I didn't have authorization to
operate from, Brain, including the high seas.

Just like your coveted box full of military medals
that you didn't earn. Walter Kooky style.

A "box full of medals" collected...never worn. Just like some people
collect patches from police or fire departments.

But that was clearly stated then too.

Your creep factor just edged a bit higher, Brain.

Nice try, but lackluster as usual.

See you at Dayton this year?

Steve, K4YZ
