Welp, I'm going to go call CQ on a MARS freq. Might as well use my ham call too, since I don't have a MARS call anymore. Shouldn't make any difference ayway. After all, "Sorry Hans, MARS IS Amateur Radio." Hi, hi. And I am sure you'll get an appropriate QSL card for the effort, Brain. True, but he is an Extra and therefore can say anything he wants in full protection of the something-or-other. If nursie wants to call you a NAMBLA member, then you ARE one and that's okay. In most cases when I am on HF, it would take you a moderate amount of skill or dedicated software to communicate with me. "Dedicated" to what? :-) Are you on those MARS frequencies just outside the hum bands? Even if you had the software, you'd still have to be able to know what to listen to.
