Default Dieter! SAAAAAAVE US DIETER!

Signed on to the NG this morning to find the following items posted to the
NG from Blowhard Baxter and Company.

Mr Stussy presumes to express his dismay at the once-a-week, single
postings of the Amateur Radio Newsline, calling it SPAM.

I am eager to see if Mr Stussy is as equally adamant in his "fight" to get
K1MAN to stop sludging up the Internet with his extension of his on-the-air
antics or not.

I seriously doubt his actions will match his rhetoric.

Steve, K4YZ

JUMP TEAM RADIO OPERATORS NEEDED

This one is particularly cute as it "suggests" that "all health and
welfare traffic is being routed" via IARN resources.

K1MAN DAILY TRANSMITTING (BULLETIN) SCHEDULE

K1MAN has been warned directly by the FCC that this does not protect him
from starting up on top of on-going QSO's or nets. Guess he's not got the word
yet.

IARN, THE INTERNATIONAL AMATEUR RADIO NETWORK, IS ACTIVATED

Gee...aren't WE lucky.

IARN AMATEUR RADIO TALK PROGRAM

Blowhard Baxter Blowing Bogus Bulletins And BS Across the Bands

IARN EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS GRADUATE SCHOOL

Uh huh...That's what I want...A "graduate" certificate from an idiot
that has more correspondence from the FCC than he ever got QSL cards!

MISSION STATEMENT

This was a waste of bandwidth.

IARN EMERGENCY TRAFFIC ACTIVATION LEVELS

I sure hope the Red Cross, Salvation Army, et al, make sure they have this
handy schedule of services at hand...

Brother Stussy is suggesting ARN honor long-standing newsgroup charters
(even though one would be hard pressed to find them). He's leaving K1MAN for
the FCC to deal with. One is a matter of netiquette; the other is a matter
of law.

So sayeth we ...

Brother Stussy is on a jihad to expose the infidels for who they really are.
The infidels did not have the journalistic integrity to check their facts
and report both sides of a continuing story first aired in mid-2000. Brother
Stussy is attacking the infidels on all fronts (including finances and
netiquette) until the infidels confess their sins against their listeners.
Then the truth will set them free from Brother Stussy's wrath.

So sayeth we ...

Why is one "hard pressed" to find the newsgroup charters? Put
"rec.radio.amateur guidelines" into google.com's search engine and see that
there are at least five sites that have them..... Or is that beyond your
capability?

Personally I found them just fine.

What YOU will find hard to find is anyone who can attest to ARN's postings
as being SPAM when there are over 300 hits a month in this forum alone for
porno, cheap, non prescription erectile dysfunction drugs, and offers for
get-rich-quick schemes...Especially when the CONTENT of ARN's posts are
DIRECTLY RELATED to Amateur Radio POLICY.

But you go right ahead and ignore the facts, Dieter...File your
complaint...

I DARE you.

Good point, and the rec groups aren't near as bad of spam dumps as the
alt groups are. If it's spam his ISP or NSP will shut it down real
quick in most cases.
