For example, I followed the link above, only to find myself staring at part of the instructions for the AN/VRC-45 and AN/VRC-49 radios. Not unlike the use of CW in US military communications, these two radios are obsolete, having been replaced by the AN/VRC-93 UHF TACSAT (as in TACtical SATellite) radios.
