W0EX will be available for reassignment in February 2006. Cool. Why let a spiffy 1x2 call like that go to waste? Hmmm? Now there would be a reason to upgrade. Wherever you are, Dick, it's "SOS" here on planet Earth...RIP old buddy... 73 Steve, K4YZ Steve getting lonely? Sends an SOS to a departed amateur communicator? No dweebelet, Dick was a PROFESSIONAL radio operator who happened to also have a ham ticket. w3rv Nope, he was an amateur. Only an amateur would claim that they intentionally send Morse Code/CW poorly in an effort to keep unworthy No-Code Technician's with a computer code reader from copying it. A professional would simply encrypt the transmission. Col. Vincent can attest. |
