Default New DXCC Country

Mark Morgan, KB9RQZ, has declared himself a country. Morgan, who now goes by the name Zush, says he got the idea from a schizophrenic he met in a mental hospital where he was being treated last October.

Zush's new DXCC country, "Pagan Altered Mental State", consists of one inhabitant -- himself -- and he has issued himself a passport so he can move around. Zush has grudgingly adopted a flag. "I don't need flags and hymns," he says, "but the only way people accept that you have your own country is by using symbols of state. It's purely for diplomatic reasons." He also has changed his amateur radio license to the class "Super Extra" with the vanity callsign PHØNEY.

Zush, has adopted a national religion, "Dyslexic Aethism" with the motto "We don't believe in Dog".
