out there (and there is a LOT) look as though they are underaged. there
is really nothing in anime to determine how old an anime character is.

converted into english) ALL their voices are high pitch. That is one of
the requirement to be voice actor/actress in japan you have to be able
to have a high pitch voice. As for child-like mannerisms there's a lot
of characters in japanese animation that have that qualities young and
old. I have over 1000 anime movies (in japanese) and there is a big
difference between US anime and Japanese anime, over here the
distribution groups like 4 kids and funanimation remove a lot of the
content, and the translations are often off from what is really being
said. don't talk to me about anime, I know a hell a lot about anime,
I've been watching it since the early to mid 70's.
