That's a Lafayette HE-10! I built the kit version of that radio
(KT-200) when I was in high school in the 60's, sold it to buy food when
I was in college and have regretted it ever since. It was a pretty
decent radio in its day, and it sparked a lifelong interest in DX
worldband listening.

Small world! I think a lot of novices had a KT-200 for a first receiver.
I "graduated" to the Heath HR-10 before my license arrived, probably
a good thing given the lack of ham band bandspread on that old
Lafayette! I just picked one up in fairly good shape to restore.

Right... I get confused... I included a QF-1 Audio filter withit that
improves the audio gain by tons.
