Since I can use the veneer practice I would tackle it. What can you loose.

Uses the usual TRF lineup with a pair of UX245 audios and '80 rectifier. Of course, the tubes and knobs where rifled before the set was delivered. The audios and rectifier are missing, and this greatly diminishes the value of the radio. It needs easy veneer work, all straight edges, etc. with delamination and strips of veneer missing. The chassis is painted and looks to be fully restorable. What would you do with this beast? Pete |
