Default Porch find -- Junk or Save???

Someone was given this radio to give to me. A rather odd
brand, but very common looking early TRF AC set. Uses
the usual TRF lineup with a pair of UX245 audios and
'80 rectifier. Of course, the tubes and knobs where rifled
before the set was delivered. The audios and rectifier are
missing, and this greatly diminishes the value of the radio.
It needs easy veneer work, all straight edges, etc. with
delamination and strips of veneer missing. The chassis
is painted and looks to be fully restorable. What would
you do with this beast?

Since I can use the veneer practice I would tackle it. What can you loose.

If you don't have to feed it, keep it.

Depends what you like and how bad you want it to look good again . I
dont see anything of any use or value on that now however its still a
``radio``.
If i were faced with it i would clean it all up and very quickly glue
any major veneer then offer it for sale in my shop as a decor piece or
to someone wanting a project . Anything but taking it all apart and
making it go away forever .
