IIRC correctly, this was Audio-Technica's answer to the Discman. Yes, you
were supposed to carry a stack o' records with you and play them on this thing. I have no idea why Sony chose to sell a version with their name on it. |

This thing was made in 1982, which is pretty much before the CD made the it in the mass market, particularly in portables. Best Regards, DAve |
