A similar type of fitting was used for car dash board lamps on some British cars until about the 1990's. May still be used on some models. A trip to the local car breakers may be worthwhile. |

Normally I would agree with you on that, having gotten a lot of good parts from the auto wreckers in the past, but here in Korea, there really are no cars older than about 1984, when they first began to allow POV's. Almost all of the existing ones are Korean made and have the newer style dash lamp holders that are plastic and twist into the hole in the dash and make their connection in this manner. |
