Default Antenna Identification question...

On portable radios...About 4", with 2 red stripes near the tip....

What band would this be?

Anywhere from VHF-hi to 450. (I've never seen a VHF-lo antenna that
short, but I've seen stubbies shorter than that from 150-850.)
