I'm in need of a portable, prefer one that also has the cradle that
recharges it, SAME weather radio. I especially need one that is very easy to program the FIPS codes into the radio. I would need one that also allowed about 7-10 counties to monitor, also a VERY LOUD alarm sound. It would also be nice to have one that would visually display the Warning/Watch and also allow you to disable certain warnings; like be able to disable warnings for floods but allow the storm/tornado warnings/watches. I tried oregon scientific and they seem to have fantastic SAME radios but I e-mailed them and they said they wouldn't have products available until August! I've also tried E-Bay but few have good ones and most are $25+ overpriced. Can one of you help me find a good quality radio like this? My budget would be just under $100 thanks a bunch... I would recommend the: Radio Shack model 12-262 Will do what you want,
up to 9 locations/counties. Well under $100. Crackles McFarly wrote: I'm in need of a portable, prefer one that also has the cradle that recharges it, SAME weather radio.
