Default Fwd: [MilRadioComms] Hurricane Hunter "Teal 73" comms

I am hearing comms related to Hurricane Hunter "Teal 73" on his
Hurricane mission. Teal 73 is a WC-130J out of Keesler AFB's AFRC 403W
53WRS "Hurricane Hunters."
Miami Ctr ATC on 135.075 is using airliner "Jet Blue 584" to
relay comms to Teal 73.
"Tell Teal 73 that if he is going to come within 40 miles of the
seashore, he should notify ATC via Miami Ctr's 132.25 or guard freq."
The Miami Ctr ATC also asks Jet Blue 584 to get Teal 73 to
confirm the altitude block in which they want to work.
Jet Blue 584 themselves have now been handed off to 134.85 so is
probably getting beyond range of Teal 73.

Thank you for posting this. I am sure there are Hammers and other
folks who will be on it now. Talk about real time data, that even
beats the weather channel!

It's really cool that the airliners are helping out, I hadn't heard
that this was done but it sounds like they are stepping up big.

The other fellow posted here about the type of fliers who pioneered
this stuff, the guys doing it must have major guts.

Instead of getting grounded for storms or trying to avoid them they
fly right in.
