9000 since 1996 and love it.
I monitor Milair all the time with it and it performs farely well. So I
guess it depends which batch your 9000 came from.
But George has been monitoring Milair a lot longer than I have, so he
generally knows what he's talking about.

It could be which batch, I've heard others say they've not had the
problem while other have. Might also have to do with how close you are
to 900 MHz towers. Back when I had mine all cell phones were 900 MHz,
today there's a lot of 1900 MHz cellphones if I'm not mistaken.
Possibly the 900 MHz band today isn't as loaded as it was 6-8 years ago.
