Tom Good question which I'm not sure I know the answer to. However one thing I do know is that on the GRE the lowest possible gain is 10 dB where as the Stridesburg is only 4 dB. So there's a 6 dB difference. Now I'll take a guess at another idea...I would say the Stridesburg is better built and better shielding. It has a heavy cast aluminum case were as the GRE has a much thinner case. Also the Stridesburg might have a lower noise figure. George http://www.MilAirComms.com |
