I'm kind of new to scanners and need some advise. I'm trying to
decide on either the Radio Shack Pro-92 vs the Pro-95. I don't know
how important it is to have the EF Johnson LTR that the 92 has but the
95 doesn't. Otherwise, the 500 channels of the 92 is sufficient for
me -- I don't think I need the 1000 channels that the 95 offers.
What are the other differences between 92 and 95, and is there some
factor/consideration that would be a deciding factor between the two
models?
Thanks for any advise you might offer me.
Well, I've had both, the 92 was ok at best, but the 93 (pretty much the
same as a 95 with less channels) is a great radio. The 92's (I actually
had two one was brand new, one was used) both went back.
The later ones are much better.
