Default Receiver Workhorse

Anyone know of a simple, good quality, single channel VHF/UHF
workhorse receiver (in either a kit, board, or box)?

- Single channel operation at either:
VHF-lo (29.7-50.0 MHz 5kHz steps), sensitivity ~0.3uV
VHF-hi (148-174 MHz 5kHz steps), sensitivity ~0.5uV
UHF (450-470 MHz 12.5KHz steps), sensitivity ~0.5uV
UHF "T" (470-512 MHz 12.5kHz steps), sensitivity ~0.5uV
UHF HI (806-823.9875 MHz 12.5KHz steps), sensitivity ~0.5uV
- Spurios Rejection @ ~150MHz 40dB down
- Squelch control
- Line level audio out (no power amp required)
- Cost less than $35

Perhaps an IC Manufacturer Eval Board or even crystal controlled radio
(if such an animal still exists).....
