Radio Shack CAN NOT Deliver CQPSK for Digital PRO-96

Radio Shack and GRE have admitted that they can not deliver CQPSK for the
PRO-96. If you need CQPSK then you should take your PRO-96 back and buy one of
the BC-796/296 digital scanners.
See http://strongsignals.net for more information.
Remember that this year Motorola will be rolling out CQPSK at all digital
systems they install so keep that in mind if your area is making digital
changes to it's radio system.

Odd. I don't see anywhere in the SS item that GRE or RadioShack have
"admitted that they can not deliver CQPSK for the PRO-96". I read that
they're currently testing it, but are not absolutely sure they'll be
able to create a "releasable" DSP firmware update.

Here's a snippet from the SS item:
While we feel confident that we will be successful, you should all
be aware that there is a possibility we may not be able to field a
version that is good enough to meet the needs and expectations of
end users.

They say they're "confident that" they "will be successful".

What did you read that says they're admitting they can't do it?
