Senseless discussion. It's like saying that your big wheel 4x4 blows
his Ferrari away, and neglect to mention that you live in the middle of nowhere surrounded by swamps. The Pro-2006 are probably the worst scanner you have when it comes to sensitivity. But the IM rejection compensates for that when you use it at an RF rich enviroment or have an amplified antennna. In a mild RF climate anyone of the other scanners would beat the Pro2006 hands down. There's a time and place for each scanner where it will shine more brighter than the rest. Your 780 are probably overall the most versatile scanner you have and handles most situation just fine. The 2006 is now a mythological beast. IF you can convince ME that there is A blowcat scanner to be HAD for UNDER $200 that I'D be BETTER off with than a 2006,I'LL humbly FLY over and shine YOUR shoes... Hey .. Why am I randomly capitalizing words ?? IMO, a BC895XLT. Good coverage. Excellent performance. Basic TrunkTracking, and CTCSS for $189 new, and about $125 used. You can also find a BC780XLT for around $225 used, which makes the 2006 really look like a toy. |
