Default 785d chain search

hi all havin a few probs with the chain search let me see f i can word this
so it can be understood.

i have chain search set to "on" so it scans all banks

i have banks 1-7 programed with ranges to search ,

while the scanner is actively scanning ranges i can hit "4" to take that
range out from being searched. if i remove all except 1 i would hit 2 3 4
5 6 7

then rage 1 would be left to scan now if the scanner isnt actually
scanning i am unable to turn on the other ranges again , like if it stoped
on a freq hwo can i turn on the other ranges again without turning off
chain search ?

hope ya follow , tx
