Turn the dial to the 6 o clock position, from what I can see that should
be the 200 Ohm mark in the Green. If you touch the leads together it
will show 0.00, or no resistance for obvious reasons. If you leave the
leads apart it will show infinity (not sure what that will look like. On
some units it looks like --.-).

Now, assuming your antenna is coax, carefully put the one lead on the
centre post of the coax wire going to your antenna and the other lead on
the outside connector portion. If you have 0 ohms and your sure that
you are holding the leads right, then you have a short somewhere in your
antenna or in the cable.

When you say 800 Mhz antenna, are you saying that it is resonant at 800
Mhz or is it some sort of active antenna with a band pass filter on it?
If it has a band pass filter only alowing 800 MHz through then it will
never pick up your local FM stations! If it is just an antenna cut for
800 Mhz with no active components then it should still pick up your
local FM stations without any problems.
