Unblocked 780XLT - Question
I was considering a unblocked 780XLT to replace my PRO-2030. I have a
unblocked Yaesu VR-500 which I really like to travel with. Has anyone bought one and is it truly unblocked? Most of the sites read continous coverage and then go on about the ranges of freq's it will bring in. Frequency coverage: 25-512MHz, 806-956Mhz, 1240-1300MHz Either it is blocked or unblocked right? I am assuming that a ubc780XLT is an unblocked version. I have bought from www.bander.com in the past and quite happy with them. They offer one that is "almost continous coverage" That is like saying the scanner is almost on. I sent them an e-mail a few mins ago and hope to get a response soon. Anyone? The cell crap doesn't really interest me but I have heard activity on frequencies on my VR-500 I couldn't get on my PRO-2030. |

In article , Biff
writes Frequency coverage: 25-512MHz, 806-956Mhz, 1240-1300MHz Either it is blocked or unblocked right? Thats the coverage of a UBC-780XLT. If your use of the word "Blocked" refers to the frequencies used by analogue cellular in the USA then the UBC-780XL is "Unblocked". Both the UBC-780XLt and BC-780XLT do not receive 956-1240MHz. -- Cheers, JC Javiation - Scanners & receivers from all the leading manufacturers http://www.javiation.co.uk |
