not excatly sur what you mean,
but if you mean the third contact terminal where the battey pack goes in
then yes.
there is a rechargeable pack you can use, or if you are cheeky you can wire
a diode across inside to put the power to the normal + terminal from the
charge terminal.

the mod is on the net somewhere i expect.

i think it was the 36 i saw it for.

I love the thing! I was changing my batteries in it today and I
noticed that there are terminals in it that appear to be for a
rechargable battery. Is there such a beast that I can buy for it and
use the charging jack on the side of the scanner? Also, was there
ever a leather type case made for it?

I actually have everything for it - the service manual, parts list,
owner's manual, and box - :-)
