Sounds nice...... I already have a unbloocked handheld. Bought a Yaesu
VR-500 from Bandercom a few years ago. Have quite the collection going now. VR-500 Pro-2030 BC-785D "Vic Martinez" wrote in message ... I've got an unblocked Pro-26 'european version' handheld for sale $100.00 25mhz-1.3ghz No blocks, No gaps, not modified in any way. a google search should produce more details/reviews of this model. a perfect supplement scanner to fill in the 'gaps'. Excellent Condition. E-Mail if interested. |
Sounds good 'Biff', I just moved back to Naperville, but work near
Danada Square in Wheaton. If you know anyone who's interested, let me know. The TRADING TIMES doesn't accept ads for Scanners anymore due to 'Homeland Security' concerns, I was told.(what???). |
You get down to it, it's about the same distance plus I fell that "The
toy store" has better deals and are more customer friendly. Yes AES is a bigger location than the Toy store, but it's nicer to have someone who is more friendly than a person who is a jurk and don't care about anything about getting a sale. Tom S wrote: I see you are in Lake in the Hills. Being that far north, why not head up to AES in Milwaukee?? As far as "the toy store", I've tried to visit the place in the past. The hours are kind of hit and miss. You may want to call first to make sure the owner will be there as it seems like a one-man shop. Just a thought, Tom - AC9TS "Biff" wrote in message ... damn..... that was the one I was looking for. I knew ther was one out here somepalce. Thanks "Fred Shabec" wrote in message thlink.net... try: http://www.amateur-radio-toy-store.com/ Biff wrote: Anyone know where to buy Uniden scanners in the Chicagoland area? I am interested in the BC-785D possibly. Google has come up blank. |
