Does the BC 245 and the 250 use the same belt clip?

TIA

No... the 245 uses an actual belt clip that's screwed to the back of
the radio. The 250's belt clip is really a seperate part that's
independent of the radio. It "snaps" on the back of the radio by four
small tabs that settle into four small slots on the side of the radio,
two on each side. For what it's worth, I haven't found anyone **yet**
who trusts the 250's clip enought to actually use it. It has a feel
that with the right bump, your precious radio will fall to the floor.
