Hello,
Just wondering if it's possible to listen to the Toronto Subway system? I was under the impression this was impossible, due to proprietary trunking / security functions of the TTC underground radio system. Yet, I read a post on the Yahoo scanner site a while ago and was told not only was listening to the subway possible, it's very easy - provided you're on the platforms / trains. (Or very close to a station) So, I have no idea what to believe except radio is radio. Unless totally encrypted, a full coverage receiver should be able to hear them. Other TTC stuff is easy, but the trains themselves I've yet to monitor. Any ideas? Mike T. |
