Default Fair Price for a AOR 1000?

I am looking for the fair price for a used AOR 1000 scanner. As this
is an old model, I can not find any info online. This was one the
scanner with full coverage (0.5-1300 MHz), eg. no gaps.

Thanks.

Great scanner - I've had mine for over a decade with no problems.
I'd say upwards of $200 would be reasonable.

Seems to be a $100 difference in opinion! It worth whatever someone will bid
for it on Ebay! My kid now picks up DVD's at Walmart for $3.00 and sells
them on Ebay for $10-15, go figure!

Your right about that - I personally wouldn't have a problem paying $200 for
a .5-1300 mhz full coverage 1000 memory channel scanner.
They were top of the line for years - And it was about the only one you could
get with military band coverage for a longggg time - And til this day not
much seperates it from the top of the line now, except bells and whistles like
digital S meters,timers,SSB ect.
Of course theres the age factor - But they seem to hold up very well in that
regards, with the excpetion of the keypad eventually going bad - A problem
which pretty much afflicts all keypad devices eventually.
$100 sounds more like a garage sale price - I'd guarantee he'd get more than
that on ebay.

Bout the DVD's yeah that happens more than folks realise - Alot of walmart
crap is damn near close to wholesale - So people can use that to their
advantage.
He should save up his money and buy them wholesale himself for even better
profit.
Personally I stay away from walmart as much as I can, going maybe a few times
a year.
They have grown far too big,at the cost of everyone else, and a dollar spent
with them is 50 cents in a china mans pocket.
