What does it mean when someone say I have the Euro version. Please email me
with the answer.

In many cases the "european version" of a scanner (if there is a real(!)
european version) has continous coverage. No cell block etc...

And thats why they call it " the euro version ", and yes, you could say
there are euro versions of many scanners.
But Damm, why not of the pro-95 .........

It's special features -eg. trunktrackung, wether alert- are worthless in
europe.

Not compleet worthless, trunking is used in two cities in the netherlands,
and on schiphol.
Also many industries use it.
But tobad, the frequentie band is differend.

There is a lot of trunking systems used in europe. But not only the
frequencies used for trunking are different fromthe US ones. The
implemented protocols too are different from the ones used in europe.
The only trunktracking system, I know of, wich is (basicly) working in
germany is based on a PC program IIRC for the PCR-1000.
