Having been away from the hobby for about 8 years, I decided to get
back to it. I just purchased a BC250d from Grove, and now I need you
guys suggestions on software to program it.
For all that posted suggestions for a scanner a while back, I appreciate
it, and it was instrumental in my decision to get the 250d.

ARC250 is the acknowledged champ. You can get that from BuTel
software in the Netherlands, and I think Scanner Master sells it as well.
