Default Need help with Regency MX5000

I just bought got myself a Regency MX5000 scanner, but no manual.
Programming frequencies into the thing was no problem, but I just
can't figure out how to program a limit search. I've tried everything
I can possibly think of.
I hope there is someone in this NG who can advise me.
Thank you.

The MX-5000 was/is the same as the AOR AR2001. The operating manual for
the AR2001 is available in PDF format at:

http://www.aoruk.com/pdf/ar2001m.pdf

The MX7000 is "the same" but with extra 800-1300MHz coverage whilst the
MX-8000 is the same as the AR2002.
