Good point. I didn't mean poverty stricken really. What I am saying is
that for those who saved their lunch money up to buy a scanner or who
were given permission from the spouse to make the purchase, it is an
additional blow to have to spend $30 for some software only used
occassionally. I don't think it is necessary. I think there should be
free software for the Pro96 owners. I like the idea of free software
when possible but I understand and respect non-free as well.
