JSTARS "StrikeStar" working fighters at Avon Park Bombing Range
Here's some freqs for you to plug in today if you are in Florida. Or hang
onto them if JSTARS flights come into your area some day. It is 1:38pm EDT (1738z) and STRIKESTAR is up with ANTIDOTE and Avon Control on 264.625, preparing to work with MAKO 11 flight. 264.625 will be coded as "TAD-12." StrikeStar has instructed Avon to advise MAKOs to come up on 355.25 when they are done dropping their inert ordnance and ready to work with the ground party (ANTIDOTE 40). I am also hearing comms from StrikeStar to Northrop Grumman JSTARS Ground Station "Star 1" on 225.725. --------------- It is 1:51pm EDT (1751z), and StrikeStar has advised Avon Park Range that their primary freq for working the MAKO 11 flight will be 388.225.
