Just bought new one using the $50 coupon available on the internet.

Looking for advice & opinions on best software to work with the RS PRO-95
scanner.

Also what package to get frequencies for local area, rural South Carolina.

For software go to www.starrsoft.com and get win98 (works for me) and the cable
can be found at www.balckbagsoftware.com.

I don't think Radio Shack caries either the cable of software anymore.....

www.starrsoft.com is free software. Can't help you on a frequency
package however.
