Larry Van Horn shared some very positive comments on the Chattradio list on
Yahoogroups around Nov 8, 2004.

He had been involved with the Uniden beta testing of the 246.

His only "negatives" were that the scanner wouldn't do digital trunking, and
couldn't receive mil-air.

Larry mentioned that Monitoring Times would have a review of the scanner in
their December issue.
