Interesting day of comms with a great variety of acft types: DC-8, P-3C, T-38, S-3B, C-37A, T-45, KC-135, C-141, E-8C, F-16, C-130, and one huge Ukrainian Antonov AN-124. Even a US State Dept Cessna Caravan! It just does not get much better than this. [357.0] SPAR 30: C-37A #01-0030, MacDill AFB 6AMW 310AS 9:51am: Up with Oakgrove on AICC. [364.2] SAM 8172: VIP flight. 10:00am: Area transition. TOPCAT: S-3B, Jacksonville NAS VS-31 "Topcats" 10:40am: Comms with Alleycat (Razor 88's back-end c/s) [292.2] SCOUT 04: S-3B, Jacksonville NAS VS-24 "Scouts" 10:44am: Orbiting on Pahokee 330 radial, 3-18 DME, 12,500 ft, left-hand turns. [349.0] CD 212: T-45A, Kingsville NAS TW-2 (Single ship) 10:49am: Working in offshore Whiskey area; comms with Sealord. Is told "Rcvr acft has taken off; contact on 293.525 when you get to Robins; will meet up with you at 1800z." 11:25am; Departs Patrick. [118.4, 133.75, 132.65, 372.2] DECEE 91, 92: C-141Bs, Andrews AFB 756AS 11:12am: En route Luke AFB; pilot spelled c/s (I used to think it was DC ##). [135.475, 119.825] N4667B: 208B Cessna Caravan, US State Dept Intl Narcotis Mission, Patrick AFB. 11:15pm: Local ops. [133.75] RAZOR 88: E-8C JSTARS, Robins AFB 11:50am: Gets FL240-310 altitude block for orbiting; to KMLB 142 radial at 77 DME, then Craig. [119.825] ALLEYCAT: Back-end (Mission) Callsign for RAZOR 88. 12:44pm: "MacDill 250 radial at 12." 12:50pm; Passes coordinates to acft EVIL 10.
