I am looking for a way to better organize the way I have my scanner
porgrammed. I have a total of 6 trunked systems programmed--5 for one state and 1 for the state where I am currently living. Additionally, in one bank I have coventional and trunked frequencies programmed. It's my understanding that this is not effective to have it setup this way. I don't program in all the frequencies for the trunked system, just the ones that are needed for the scanner to start tracking transmissions. This results in most of the channels in each bank being unused. I also don't program in all the talkgroups for the trunked system. I only have two convential frequencies that for police use. I also have a few air frequencies. Should I combine the police/air frequencies into one bank or put them in seperate ones? The scanner that I have is the bc-250d |
