... You should check out the BC-246T, it is the same size as the 83, follows LTR, Motorola and EDACS analog voice systems. It also has programmable bank sizes so big and small trunked systems don't tie up your channels with empty frequencies. -- Best Regards, Keith http://kilowatt-radio.org/ NW Oregon Radio Page Well damn! Now you've done it. It does look nice. Looks like it is about the same size as the 83. Anyone have good experience with this? Place to get good price? This is the first place that popped up when I put it into a search, will do some more checking. I think I may just buy myself one for Christmas G Thanks for the tip!! http://eliteproductsco.com/store/ind...1&item=1083307 |

nk.net... Does it "Trunk", and get mil-air frequencies? "Bruce Markowitz" wrote in message ... Probably the best non-digital scanner ever made It says it does pick up trunked Motorola and Erickson just like the 95. Don't know about others as all I was interested in was Police. You can see them at the link here, or just look at a search engine. Several places were selling them. I got the impression they are a new item as several places mention that they had just started shipping them. I'm sure the Uniden site would give all the specs too. -- Money isn't everything but it sure keeps the kids in touch. http://eliteproductsco.com/store/ind...1&item=1083307 |
