So I'm keeping it.
I am getting to know the 246T and I like it. I have a question. I have the Priority feature turned off. Yet when I listen to a channel, there is a quick interruption every two seconds of dead air. Like on my RS scanners when I have the Priority channel selected, where the scanner skips back to another freq for a second. But on the 246T I don't have it set up that was (AFAIK). Any suggestions? Thanks |

You have the "Close Call" detection turned on. Go into the menu and
turn it off. Thanks, but I've got it turned off completely as well. |

I took a bit different tact, I found some free clone software with an original load file, so I just regenerated the system. by then i had completely screwed it up anyway. It started out like it was brand new when I reloaded it, so i can screw it up again.... Billy, N5WE Mississippi |
