I'm able to work all the local repeaters in the Greater Charleston, SC area
from Summerville, SC.
During ducting conditions I have work repeaters as far South as
Jacksonville, FL and St. Marys, Ga. where I lived prior to moving here.
Prior to this antenna I used an outside Ringo Ranger vertical about 20' off
the ground and I would say for local use they were about the same.
