news ![]() I am broadcasting my scanner over the internet and the sound is fine until it gets to the 460 range and then there is a hum. I went out and bought a shielded cable for my scanners connection to the sound card but it did not help. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Try a 0.1 uF Tantalum cap on the center conductor. IOW, interrupt the center conducter and install the cap inline between the scanner and sound card. Also, I would strongly suggest you install a 1:1 isolation transformer between the cap and scanner. -- 73's es gd dx de Ken KGØWX Grid EM17ip, Flying Pigs #1055, List Owner, Yahoo!
