Default Poss HF Freqs for Space Shuttle Launch Comms Rebroadcast

HF rebroadcast freqs for Shuttle Launch Control
-----------------------------------------------

I am getting a lot of Emails from people wanting to know HF freqs that
might be rebroadcasting the Shuttle Launch Control comms that I am
hearing here. I do not know if Goddard ARC will be rebroadcasting the
comms for STS-114, but since it is so important a launch (Return to
Flight), my guess would be that they might broadcast.

Here are the freqs that they used for the Shuttle Launch Control comms
in the past:

3.860 USB
7.185 USB
14.295 USB
21.395 USB
28.650 USB

AL STERN Satellite Beach FL (28-11N 80-36W) monitoring
Patrick AFB (KCOF) NASA-KSC Shuttle Landing Fac (KX68)
Avon Park Bombing Range (KAGR) Cape Canaveral AFS (KXMR)
JSTARS E-8 Acft Integration Facility, Melbourne IAP (KMLB)
 Worldwide Military HF Communications

HF rebroadcast freqs for Shuttle Launch Control

Thank you for this info, Allan. Too bad they had to scrub today's launch.
Hope they can launch by the weekend, but the solution to the problem with
the fuel tank sensors seems to be elusive. I was just listening to NPR on
the way home from work this evening... they were interviewing someone from
NASA (I think) and he said that they had this problem before, but could not
pinpoint what caused it. If they can't locate the problem and come up with a
quick fix, the launch may be delayed until September.

You would think a quick review of the schematic would solve it.
Wait, they may not have a schematic as the shuttle has a few million parts!!

I'm being sarcastic and I really hope they find the problem and get back to
space.
