Silent Key Auction for Herb Petereit, W0AFY. If you knew Herb, you knew
that he was one of the "old timers". One of his first jobs after moving
to Omaha, Nebraska, in the 60's was building Galaxy V's at World Radio.
He knew his gear inside and out, knew how everything worked, and took a
lot of pride in keeping everything running in top shape. For many HAMS
in the Omaha area in the 70's and 80's, Herb was the guy to go to when
you needed help.

Herb passed away on Veteran's Day, November 11th, 2003, after a severe
bout of pneumonia. He was 71 years old.
