Default Pro-2004 Problem

I have a Realistic Pro-2004 Scanner that has decided to start clearing
it's memory. It's happened twice in the span of a week. I have three
scanners and have never had a problem...ever. I'm completely confused.

Is this fixable? Common? If anyone has any suggestions I would
really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Did you replace the backup battery?
