Thanks to Eduardo and DX-Ace my new Boston Acustics HD radio arrived
last night.
This is a fine receiver that brings me 12 new stations here in the
Drtroit market.
I just wanted to thank you gentlemen for bringing HD to my attention,
without your
input I would have never known about this excellent radio.

What a joke - now, you have to erect a dipole antenna, in a high
position ! Hell, one can get Internet Radio on cell phones, for as
little as $7.00/month through Motorola iRadio (435 commercial-free
channels) ! Sucker - you have limited access to only a local market,
with less coverage, than with analog AM/FM !

The analog version of the Recepter is a surprisingly good bedside AM dx
machine using a Terk Advantage AM loop antenna.
The poor reception mentioned in a subsequent post here refers only to FM
reception without a dipole of which I am not interested. The pigtail for FM
included with my analog Recepter is more than adequte. The addition of a
F-connector for an external FM antenna I am sure would make it a fine FM
machine.

The RecepterHD is a very good analog FM receiver. Better than a
Tivoli Model One.

You were referring to the Clearwire thing with McCoy and Intel... 400+
channels. Now you are backtracking to present an EVDO capable cell phone.
Big deal. I have EVDO with two separate carriers, because is it so
inconsistent I have to pick "best signal" between the two.

He's been busted in Miami...
And down San Diego way...
He's been busted in Portland...
And in Ecuador they say...
Edweenie's been busted... Busted USA...

Here is the following from an exchange in alt.politics.immigration:

"krp":
Do you also recall claiming to be an ECUADORIAN REFUGEE who knows as well as
Cubans do having to flee THEIR country?

"David Eduardo":
You get everything mixed up. I said I was a refugee myself, as I had to
flee Ecuador to avoid being killed. In fact, I was a matter of days away from
becoming a citizen at that time.

"dxAce":
Nowadays one must renounce their current citizenship and give up their
current passport to become a citizen of Ecuador.

"David Eduardo":
Not then.

"dxAce":
Did you at any time renounce your citizenship and if so, when did you
un-renounce it?

"David Eduardo":
Are you an employee of the Department of State?

"dxAce":
Nope. And you didn't answer the question.

"David Eduardo":
You figure it out.

"dxAce":
I'll take that as a yes, you did renounce your citizenship. Any true American
would never hesitate in answering that question.

"David Eduardo":
It is simply none of your business.

"dxAce":
Ahhhh... another 'YES'. You really are a worthless piece of ****, aren't you,
Frackelton?

R&R means Rest and Relaxation.I had three choices,Hong Kong or Danang or
Tokio.Since I had already had an eight hour layover in Tokio and saw
some of the sights of beautifull down town Tokio (a lot of construction
was going on in the Ginza area and many places in Tokio,I saw it with my
own beady little eyeballs,they was getting ready for the 1964
Olympics,big mounds of dirt was piled up along that street in the
Ginza,new Subway additions,lots of rebuilding all over Tokio) and since
our Pan Am Blueball stopped over in Hong Kong for only half and hour and
we were told to stay on the Blueball and since I prefered to do my R&R

Never did. I use several variants, with and without middle name and second

The question is, if I didn't call a few people whom you have hand
picked, what would they say? Don't treat me like a fool. This is the
oldest, most transparent trick in the book.

The President of Arbitron? The COO and CFO of Clear Channel? Those are about
the biggest figures in our insutry, and not known for lying.

Never did. I use several variants, with and without middle name and
second
given name, as do most people. William Ferdinad Barkley, III is Bill to
friends, William F. Barkley on his busines card, and the full thing on
legal
papers. All depends on the venue. Same name, differnt extensions.

Yes, it all depends on the venue. If it's a venue you wish to lie in,
then you use one name. If it's a venue you wish to tell the truth in,
then you use another.

All are parts of the same name. I post with my first two names. You post
with your first name. Same thing.
I sign my checks with my full name. You probably do, too..
Nothing is being hidden, and anyone who bothers can find ot every and all of
them.

Yet you could verify this all... I even gave you names... but you won't.
It
is more fun to be in denial, and use your lies to try to invalidate the
point that HD is here, like it or not.

It's far, far too late for you to attempt to implement this kind of
damage control. You've been caught too many times for this to work.
It's like putting a bandaid on decapitation.

You are simply triying to discredit an industry voice of reason and logic on
the HD issue. Who cares if I use my middle name or not all of the time. Is
George Bush a different person from George W. Bush or G.W. Bush? I think
not.

Nope, because I only have one name, in 4 parts. And because an error in a

Read again, Sherlock. A "refugee from Ecuador" is not an "Ecuadorian
refugee." I am the former, not the latter.

You are playing with word order now. I'm actually quite proud in retrospect
at having been a voice of opposition to the military government, which was
leftist, totalitarian and barbaric. While I lost some radio stations, I did
something that needed to be done. Challenging a dictatorship is a little
more than the word order involved in stating that I was ordered, at
gunpoint, out of Ecuador. What have you done to defend your principles?
