Default Shortwave Targets for Antarctic Vacation

I'm rather new to DX-ing and Short Wave. Mostly I enjoy listening to
AM-band US and Canada radio stations.
I'll be traveling to Antartica in late December and am looking for help
with DX-ing Short Wave radio stations while I am in the Southern
Hemisphere.
I'll be traveling to Buenos Aries, South America in December (I'll only
be there 24 hours) and then I'll be leaving for Usuira (sp?) and then
will be taking an ice breaker over the Drake Sea to the Antarctic
Peninsula over New Years. When I'm not taking in the scenery or taking
pictures, I'd like to listen for radio stations.
Any suggestions for SW and AM targets the South Atlantic? I hope to
pick up some traffic from the Antarctic continent. I'll be taking my
portable Sangean World Band ATS
909 which I can scan European as well as standard frequencies. I can
attach an external antenna if needed.
Thanks.
