The S350 has analog tuning, and a frequency counter readout. That's
where at least some of the celebrated drift comes from.

But according to Radio Shack (and various people's comments about
the tuning steps) the 12-150 has synthesized tuning.

That is a pretty blatant difference.

ANd once they make that sort of "mod", there is little reason to
even believe there is anything in common between the two radios.

You should have stuck with the line about how they are equally bad,
because whether or not that is true, it's more true than claiming
the radios are the same.

hard to believe that you have had any involvment with Sidwell Friends
school, other than possibly walking by and seeing the sign.

Screw you, asshole ! You are just jealous ! Harrison is the
headmaster, Mrs. Dater was my 6th grade middle-school teacher, my
Brother dated Julie Nixon in 1965, I knew Lisa Stark of NBC Nightly
News, Carter Eskew was my best friend and was Al Gore's speech wriiter,
Zartman House is where graduations are held, the gym is next to the
middle school, we had sit-down lunches that were served to us, we
played Landon, St. Albans, and Georgetown Prep in football, and the
library is next to the high-school. Anything else ? BTW, these radios
are still crap !
